Accepted the invitation today to have lunch with Marines and their guests to honor the 236th birthday of the USMC. Call the Corps what you want (Insert your favorite euphemism for USMC here) I rest easier knowing that these fine people have and will bleed to defend me. While it is unfortunate that politicians too often want our boys (and girls) to bleed for some other people, the Marines deserve our thanks and respect--at least for today.
